It's a Julian week

I have some scary news we are dealing with at the moment and thought I would fill everyone in, a little replacement for my negligence to the blog.

Julian has been running a fever off and on for a few weeks now. Truly he has been clogged up and sick off and on for a few months. I noticed at some point that he wasn't breathing properly in his sleep. Finally a doctors appointment revealed it was an issue with swollen tonsils and they would have to come out. We were a bit relieved to find out why and know it was in our power to address the problems making him sick. After a couple days of high high high fevers he went back to the doctor only to reveal the problem has worsened.

Right now we are under 24 hour surveillance of Julian as he sleeps, plays, everything. His tonsils are severally infected and swollen beyond a safe point; in fact he has to sleep in a sitting position. However, until the infection is gone, the risks during surgery would be too great. We are reducing the infection with antibiotics and hopefully by Thursday we'll be able to put him through the procedure.

Bobby is a wreck and Julian (as well as his three parents) are exhausted!!!! Poor guy, it just stinks beyond explanation to see him so sick. I'll update as the week continues. Keep him in your thoughts.
