First: Julian's RoomJulian is a boy's boy but still has a sense of luxery (the kid has spent a lot of time with his Mom :) ). He might be the only 3 almost 4 year old boy who notices when I paint my finger nails but still would do anything to wrestle with Daddy. He has a sufari t-shirt that he loves to wear and is a big animal lover. He keeps asking when we can go on a safari?! Therefore I'm running with the idea. We are painting his bed green and doing a dark brown upholstered section on the head-board. I have green striped curtains I'm using in both spaces and will sew a foot size section of a darker fabric to the bottom to give it some weight and balance. I found these amazing fabrics today...and have supplemented it with some cool safari-like lanterns. A nod to his learning about letters and to read, a yellow sky chair to rock in, and a canopy to cover the bed...it's going to be a fabulous, fun, and boy friendly space!

For Ollie's Room: I'm sticking to natural and open. Lot of birds, owls, plants, whimsical features in browns, neautrals, and soft greens...supplementing it with some orange. Sweet dreams to our future nature-lover (I'm sure of it).
